Men's Ministries
___________________________________________________

You are invited to join with the men from North Raleigh for a new study series, "Twisted."

Frequently in our Saturday morning meetings, we have discussed the patterns of malaise faced by men. The topic of spiritual warfare has surfaced as an area of interest, so we are going to spend a little time on it.

In "
Twisted," a DVD Series by Andy Stanley, we will review the common ways that the TRUTH is twisted in our culture today. Each of these wrong paths brings destruction to our relationships, and to our intimacy with God.

Men, we are called to defend the TRUTH. Please join us for Andy Stanley's very clear, and well delivered, messages on this most vital topic, and the joyful fellowship we share in discussion afterwards.

The format is:
7:20-7:30 a.m.
Fellowship and coffee

7:30-7:50 a.m.
Video session

7:50-8:20 a.m.
Small group discussion

8:20-8:30 a.m.
Prayer and requests and other announcements

The group meets on Saturday mornings at 7:30 a.m. in the Community Room. For more information, contact
Bob Floyd or Peter Funke.

About Men's Ministries at North Raleigh
The Men's Ministry of North Raleigh recognizes that our culture, and our sinful nature, breeds independence and emptiness resulting in separation from each other, and from God. We are committed to the healing of this condition through Christian values of holiness, love, fellowship, and service so that we might all be conformed to the image of Jesus Christ.

Principles and Practices:

Together we grow our relationship with Jesus Christ and with each other. Our community is one of humble, broken men, serving boldly and intentionally in our practices of:
• Fellowship Activities: by spending time together, we overcome our fears and bring our weaknesses forward for shared accountability and strength.
• Discipleship: a curriculum to address men’s issues: our fears, our weaknesses, our strengths and blessings.
• Service: we encourage participation in a wide array of service opportunities

Every man has the opportunity to contribute to the body, and we encourage each other to use our respective gifts. Our ministry is most strong when we are evenly yoked.

We pursue a more intimate relationship with Christ by fulfilling our commitments to our families, to our church, and to each other.

In all our pursuits, we are led by God’s grace. We begin and end in prayer.

Men's Ministries is currently sponsoring the following programs at North Raleigh:
