shower for Julie Schmidt Byrne
The
women of North Raleigh are invited to a baby shower for Julie
Byrne (Julie is the daughter of Doug and Kathy Schmidt) on
Saturday, August 9 from 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. at the home of
Dora Grollimund, 1104 Stanridge Drive in Raleigh. For more

Coming up...
S.W.A.T.
(Servants With A Tool) Team Events
The mission of S.W.A.T. is to empower families and
individuals of all ages and skill levels to support,
encourage and partner with Christ-centered ministries through
construction and related activities.
In
July, the team will be doing some work at the Tapestry Church
in downtown Raleigh (the dates and details still to be
determined). On August 29-31, they will be working at the
campgrounds of the South Carolina District of the Church of
the Nazarene.

Focused
Living Retreat
ReFocus
is a journey of spiritual discovery designed to help the
people of our church listen afresh to God. If you missed the
FLR this weekend, you will have another opportunity to attend
on September 5-6. The times are Friday evening from 6:30
p.m–9:30 p.m. and Saturday from 8:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m. at
the church. The cost is only $15 which includes all
materials, snacks and lunch on Saturday. Save the dates!
Registration for this event will take place next month.
