Youth Pastor: Jordan Unfried

Pastor Jordan Unfried graduated from Azusa Pacific University in Azusa, Calif., with a master of arts in educational counseling degree in July 2009. He is also a graduate of Point Loma Nazarene University in San Diego with a bachelor of arts in philosophy and theology with a minor in pre-therapeutic psychology.
He served as an academic coach at Helix Charter High School in La Mesa, Calif., from August 2008 to June 2009. His responsibilities included but were not limited to:
Pastor Jordan and his wife Alana were married on August 1, 2009. They relocated from California to Raleigh in late August 2009.

He served as an academic coach at Helix Charter High School in La Mesa, Calif., from August 2008 to June 2009. His responsibilities included but were not limited to:
- Led weekly small group counseling/motivation sessions for at-risk students
• Administered career assessments to students supplying them with a portfolio of information and suggestions for the future
• Worked directly with over 200 students to aid them and give them direction for choosing next year’s courses
Pastor Jordan and his wife Alana were married on August 1, 2009. They relocated from California to Raleigh in late August 2009.
